The hidden face of measurement: an opportunity for continuous improvement
Metrics aren’t seen for what they are. In our companies today, indicators are often considered to be synonyms of “spies”. Still, measurements are an opportunity when they are included in an improvement dynamic.
Using Deming’s wheel and his famous PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act), we will look at various types of metrics which can be used on software development projects, and will apply usage contexts in order to improve continuously.
