USI 2009 Session
Integrating user friendliness in the agile process
While it is now generally accepted that a project’s success depends on involving the users throughout the project, an indispensable role often remains outside the agile process. This eternal absent partner—the ergonomist—generally has a very narrow action, at the start of the project. Once its design is completed, the ergonomist’s user interface is left all alone and defenceless against developers’ interpretations and the inevitable modifications that the agile process produces throughout the various application construction cycles.
Using feedbacks of different projects, we will attempt to show you the value of including the ergonomist in the agile team and how to include him painlessly and cost-effectively.
