USI 2009 Session
Technical innovations for end-user automated tests
After four years of feedback on the initial generations of automated functional testing tools (Fit / FitNesse, etc.), this session suggests we take a look back, then forward, to new generations of tools and methods: Behaviour-Driven Development.
We will present the founding concepts of these tools which bring together the owner and the contractor, their various uses, their strengths and their weaknesses. From Slim/FitNesse to JBehave and the concept of specifications workshop, together we will examine the entire spectrum of tools, both technical and methodological, which help us improve the efficiency and quality of our projects.
