Multi-Entity IS
International corporations have a number of subsidiaries which share certain activities. Each has its own IS with costs that are on the rise. But since everyone is doing the same business, why not share the IS to cut costs!
Unfortunately, it’s not always that easy.
How do you build a multi-entity IS that creates value? What strategy should you adopt and what pitfalls do you need to avoid? What architecture principles should you use to build this IS? What governance rules need to be put in place?
