Can we apply the benefits of agile computing to the entire IS department?

Agile methods have had a significant impact on quality, cycle times and client satisfaction while controlling costs and risks. These gains which have been obtained by delivering isolated applications must now be generalised to build an entire IS.

What will the impact be on operations? On cross-business cells? On purchasing? On human resource management? How can we calmly get started tomorrow morning?
