From Chaos to Order: how thousands of Mozilla contributors manage to build a well-polished product. The Firefox example.
With more than 200 million active suers, Firefox is the Web browser that has ended Microsoft’s monopoly.
How such a small organization has managed to shake the software giant? How the pieces of work by thousands of contributors are managed, sorted and put together to build Firefox? How can a piece of software be released in more than 60 languages for 3 platforms? How do so many community voices end up in a finalized product?
Tristan Nitot will explain the methodology used at Mozilla, and will talk about community marketing and distributed innovation.
