USI 2009 Session
RIA for my IS : Silverlight2 VS FLEX
RIA (Rich Internet Application), one of the buzz words of 2008, will probably know the same success in 2009. And rightly so : the “internetisation\" of desktop applications has brought into question many of IS’ rules and caused numerous technologies to blossom.
Now that the discovery and initial excitement have passed, software editors release more mature vector-based technologies which aim to simplify the choice while guaranteeing development productivity comparable to the existing IT standards.
Today, Adobe Flex 3 and Microsoft Silverlight 2 are heavyweight contenders for your IS.
Which is right for you ? What do they have in common, what are their differences ? What benefits can you expect from them ?
During this session, we will present both platforms and identify the most suitable usage scenarios for the IS.
