USI 2010 Session

A remake of “a village in the Clouds”, computer version of the third Millennium: we rationalize costs, we virtualize infrastructures, platforms and the services so as to host them in a datacenter cloud. Are we trying to catch the computer moon? What opportunities and also what challenges are we faced with?

Let’s demystify the offers of the public “cloud computing” by challenging the defenders of the Google, Amazon and Microsoft solutions. Let’s challenge them on their forces but also on their differences.

Guillaume Laforge (Springsource) will be the referee of the tournament, Didier Girard (Sfeir) will represent the Google App Engine offer, Bernard Ourghanlian (Microsoft) will talk about Microsoft Azure and Sylvain Siou (VMWare) will support vCloud Express and will talk about recent Alliances PaaS of VMware with Google and Salesforce.
