Web (2.0): the revolution won't happen
Web 2.0 is the innovation which disturbs the most. But we have to notice that facing those who remain sceptical, radical change fans are today trendy. Social media, real time web and other "new generation" services are fashion. Thus, many big companies' CEO claim to be convinced and launch innovation programs and press releases. Unfortunately first results are not always as good as expected...
Thanks to his experience, the author will try to decipher a phenomenon, which is, according to him, more a return to the sources than a revolution for companies after the drifts during the 80/90's (Pub culture, strategist manager), and why the gap between management and operations "kill" too many hopeful projects in this field. How can we, when we are supposed to represent and embody this kind of initiative, obtain concrete results? How can we avoid all the difficulties of this process (even for our own carrier), that we could sometimes compare to a long trip in the desert?
