What does USI mean?

Who is the audience of USI?
USI is organized for Geeks and Bosses wishing a computing science that transforms our society and our companies.
Geeks represent all the operational functions of the information system division, the ones who develop the information systems of our companies.
It’s absolutely not pejorative: the interest of the media and of the computer world (or not) for this geek attitude is growing more and more. Moreover all the USI team members are Geeks.
Bosses are also very interested in USI as they often find answers to their everyday problems and see, thanks to the technical sessions, how projects are handled in technical teams.
A common conviction gathers them together: using computer science as a lever of creation of value in our society, companies. During USI, Geeks and Bosses exchange, share and make progress together.
Who participates in USI ?
Every company can participate in USI. The majority of the participants are companies of the CAC40. Functions were organized like this in a company in 2010: developers (10%), project managers & architects (30%), Information system direction managers (26%), general management (4%), product owner/project owner (4%).
