After studying at the Ecole Centrale in Paris and at Stanford University, Jean-René Lyon has been doing the same job for the past 36 years: structuring complex information systems in order to make them more agile, as a Consultant, IS Director (Crédit du Nord then AXA) and Entrepreneur (Lyon-Consultants then Wyde, international publisher of insurance solutions).

In April 2007, he created CEISAR, a centre of excellence in Enterprise Architecture, at the Ecole Centrale, to produce white papers for the professions, and to train young engineers and the in-house teams of major groups (www.ceisar.org).

CEISAR is supported by major international groups : Air France, Axa, BNP Paribas, Michelin and Total.
