USI features a varied and intensive program bringing together a roster of renowned international specialists. Find out what 2018 has in store for you.
For Sir Ken, human resources are highly diverse and need to be discovered, refined, and applied. Many of our institutions evolved in earlier times to meet different needs than those we face now and education often promotes a narrow view of ability, as do many corporate organizations. As a result, many people are unaware of the variety of their talents and depth of their potential. Sir Ken focuses on understanding the diversity of human intelligence and creativity and the processes that best cultivate them.
An internationally recognized authority in creativity and innovation in education and business, Sir Ken has received numerous awards and recognitions for his groundbreaking contributions.
With more than 400 million views, his TED talk is a benchmark for speakers worldwide.

Marc Raibert is CEO and founder of Boston Dynamics, a company that creates some of the world’s most advanced dynamic robots, such as BigDog, Atlas, Spot, and Handle.
A key ingredient of these robots is their dynamic behavior, which contributes to their life-like qualities and their effectiveness in the real-world. Robots that move dynamically can go where other robots can't go, handle larger payloads with smaller footprint and smaller robot mass, and move faster to get work done more quickly.
Marc will give a status report on Boston Dynamics' work in this area, both its long-term effort to develop robots of the future and shorter-term efforts to build products that capitalize on existing robot capability.
An opportunity for attendees to see Spot in action!
